CrowdMaster was built from the workings of two different projects by Peter Noble and John Roper. Both John and Peter wanted to create a crowd simulator for Blender and started developing their own. Eventually, John found Peter's project and after some discussion the two became a team. Since then, Andrew Buttery has joined the team and is helping identify and resolve problems along with bringing an increased user focus.
